Modulus M92-5 w/ NEW factory neck

Sign in to disble this ad
Sent my 1993 Modulus M92-5 back to factory last year to have them correct the slight bow the neck had developed and they ended up putting a brand new neck on the bass - with the truss rod adjustment!

She's served me well over the years, but I'm just not comfortable with 35" scale necks anymore. Neck is in perfect condition, body has typical wear for a 17 year old bass. Comes in around 10 lbs on the bathroom scale. Includes factory Modulus case and black Dunlop strap locks.

$1050 shipped. Paypal is fine.

I know my asking price is a little more than other M92-5's that have come up lately, but the neck is NEW.

Was there any discernible difference in tone or weight between the old neck/new neck?

Just curious...BUMP for your sale!

Man, I had a 91 quantum that had a bow, I contacted them in 2000 and they said tough luck! Are you the original owner? (i was not) That is pretty awesome to have a new neck on it!

Yes, I am the original owner. They were very good about it - it just took FORVER to get the bass work. 7 months to be exact

They first attempted to de-fret, plane and re-fret the neck. It took about 5 months for them to come to the conclusion that is wasn't going to work, so they scrapped that plan and put a whole new neck on it.

MIJ 75 reissue jazz bass plus some cash? I fell in love with a Quantum 5 recently but can't drop 3 grand on a new bass anytime soon,
