Modulus Q5 20th Anniversary

Sign in to disble this ad
This is no doubt the best bass I've ever owned (and I've had quite a few in my 57 years), but I'm going back to 4 strings.

Hope to load pics soon, but this is the gorgeous deep red / cherry quilted top modulus color. The bass has been played, but is in remarkably good shape. There are a few little chips and dings on the headstock (quite minor and quite common with these basses), and on the back of the headstock, one of the string posts is missing a small circular cover (a cosmetic thing, nothing to do with function of the tuner, pics will show). The case has a good share of nicks and dings but is completely functional.

This bass has the tightest, most solid B string I've ever played - the low C and B never disappoint..

I'm sorry, don't have any more specs, but as the 20th anniversary model, it is well-appointed. $1499 plus shipping

I hope to load pics with the next couple of days,

Doug

specs from modulus:

received this from modulus today based on serial number:

"your bass was built in 1999, it has a velvet black cherry finish and Bartolini M45C pickups with a 3 band NTMB preamp. The specs are the same as our regular Quantum 5 and can be found on our web site. 1.85 at the nut, 2.75 at 24th fret and 17 mm string spacing at the bridge"

This bass didn't sell last summer, so I'm putting it up again here before trying other ways to sell. Still the best bass I've ever owned, but staying with 4 strings..

This bass has been played (see the case, few dings on the headstock), but the body, neck, remain in great shape.

Whoever gets this bass is going to be happy..

I am strongly considering picking up a Q5 this summer. If this is still around in June or July send me a PM.
