This is a 2005 Modulus Q6 with Natural Quilted Maple Top, Bartolini Pickups, Bartolini NTMB 18v Preamp, Alder Body, Chechen Fingerboard.
This has a truss rod in it so it is adjustable.
It comes with a Custom Fitted Modulus Hardshell Case. I just put a new set of strings on it too.
This thing is barely used. I'm the second owner and I've owned it for about 18 months. The guy I bought it from used to work at Modulus and this one was one of his basses he had specifically made for himself. I've owned 3 moduli and this is by far the warmest and best sounding of the 3. It is a true gem, I just have to fund the '64 P Bass I purchased recently.
I'm asking $1900 Shipped.
I accept money orders, cashiers checks, and paypal.
I've got a lot of pics so PM with your email and I will forward more of them on at your request.

| | | | More Info Also, if you can't tell from the pics, this bass has gold hardware and is of average weight for a Q6. I don't have a scale but i'd guess it weight 9-10 lbs. It has never bothered me during gigs before.

This has the same specs as my Q5 did - but with the Chechen fingerboard and 6th string. Does the Chechen change the tone much as compared to a plain graphite board?
My wife told me to just buy one already and be done with it...
My credit card is way too high already.

I've owned both and can tell you.... the wood fingerboard really tames the upper "sizzle" and overall "synth" sound you hear on the phenolic boards. More woody and organic as you would expect Also, filters out some of the "click-clack" sound of fretting notes, that I always found to be accentuated on phenolic/graphite necks.
BTW! - Sweet looking Q6
