SOLD
Folks, I keep trying, and I keep learning, I just can't pull off the fretless thing.
So I have to let this one go to someone more capable and deserving.
Here's the original thread, but it's an alder body, with a flamed walnut top and the standard 17mm Quantum 5 spacing at the bridge, and a 35" scale.
THIS BASS PLAYS LIKE MELTED BUTTAH! The tone is also totally killer.
It comes with the original hardshell case, which is in good condition.
It's in excellent condition, and the neck DOES NOT have the finish peeling problem anywhere on it.
Below is a more close up picture I took. Click it, it's bigger than it appears in this post. I can also post more later if folks need it, but I don't expect this bass to last long at this price.
Charles originally offered this beauty up at a steal of a price, and I'm not looking to make money on it, so same goes for me. All I need outa' this bass is $1750 SHIPPED/48. To your door, no muss, no fuss, just an insanely great fretless! Note, the MSRP on this model new would be almost 5K, which means MAP would likely be around $3800 or so!
Oh, and sorry, but I can't do the trade thing on this bass. I need to recover funds right now. However, for anyone within a reasonable driving distance, I'll meet/deliver midway and knock $50 off.

Tho I will say I've been lucky as a seller on these. I'm pretty damn particular at this point, so pretty much nothing I own is less than well above average to stellar, so it matters to me where the stuff goes. I feel pretty good about this sale (as I do with your ownership of the Zon).

No pull-offs on the fretless that is your problem. I have played this bass and it is absolutely killer. Can I get a Mwah!

The "silver lining" is, they really don't come much better than this one, so I don't have to worry about considering another fretless in the foreseeable future, so at least it got rid of some latent GAS I guess... at least until/unless my musical landscape changes pretty significantly someday. |

After discussing finances with the wife tonight she made me aware that our Honda Pilot needed a timing belt in the worst way. Apparently she didn't know about this until the other day when she brought the car in for a service. From what they told us it's way over due for one. So guess where all our extra money is going. I hate car repairs!
So unless the gear I have for sale here sells quickly I might lose this baby. But I wanted to post this in order to help Vic out. So no one buy it until my gear sells! Just kidding.
So it's availible for now bump.
