On offer we have a Modulus Quantum 5, with a great maple top over alder, a truss rod, and bartolini pickups/bartolini 2-band preamp. 17mm spacing, chrome hardware.

I purchased this bass about 2 months ago from another Talkbassist:
Modulus Quantum 5 Natural quilt.
Cosmetic condition is as described therein - actually in superb condition for a 2001 bass that has been played.
Selling because 34" Fender is looking to be a happier place for me, and I'm spending more time with my real instrument (the trombone). BUT this is an amazing Quantum. The 2-band EQ gets you out of the cardboard-like sound that I've found on other Quantums, and provides insight as to why those old 2-band stingrays are so prized...hey, if two-band is good enough for Sadowsky... and it seems like the frets on this bass are lower than usual for a Quantum, so you can get a full sound approaching fretless expression, with more of a woody character than you'd expect from a graphite neck and composite fretboard...maybe something to do with this particular body wood as well? And the full clarity and uniformity of all strings, in all positions, is great. A fine axe, but not my best fit!
Looking for the same $1500, shipped CONUS, that I paid two months ago. You may score a Q5 for a little less off ebay, but it won't be as good as this particular specimen.
No trade interest, unless you have a Fender American Deluxe Precision with rosewood board!
