Mint condition, extremely rare (only 20 made!) Custom PGM Moon JB-5
A beautiful instrument, crafted to perfection. You can see the original info and pics here - http://www.guitarsjapan.com/2008_Moo...Jazz_Bass.html
Alas it was a purchase I couldnt afford to make so sadly I need to let it go...
This could be your only chance to own one of these ultra rare instruments.
Originally $3300 Im looking for $2495 ono + shipping. But be quick before I change my mind and keep it!
I would also consider trades and part trades but Im pretty fussy. :-)
See my post from 03-29 for shipping info.

Mine is identical in every respect except that it is finished in Burgundy Mist, (a '60's Fender color), and has a rosewood fingerboard. It is such a fine Fender-style instrument that I have needed no other 5-string since purchasing it. I bought it 10 or so years ago from the only former US dealer I know of: Dan Lenard, then of The Luthier's Guild in Chicagoland.
The preamp is a Blackbird, but a 3-band, unlike the 2-band drop-in Jazz Bass replacement model, also a great preamp. It adds a mid-boost/cut feature that functions much like a presence knob on an amp; goose it if you ever feel you can't be heard clearly enough, or cut for a slap-tone. It features only useable tones, and sips 9-volt power.
I have played many 5-string jazzes before and since and this instrument still tands alone. If you can manage it, buy it.
