This is a custom unlined Maple board fretless done by the head luthier for Hofner Guitars. Perfect neck.. Maple unlined fretless board with some sort of Epoxy or Resign or something that protects it so you can use Round wound strings and it does not damage the board. I had this bass for about 5 years now and it has only been played a dozen times or so.
