MORE THAN MEGA RARE Rickenbacker Shadow

Sign in to disble this ad
According To Rickenbacker, there are only50 of these. This one is dead mint and comes with the OHSC. The story goes that these were made in 1986 for GC and one was sent to each store. I have had 3 of these and this is by far the cleanest example I have had/seen.

As you can see, it is almost all black and was quite a custom job for Rickenbacker. All the hardware is black. Look at the checkerboard binding...I do not think you will find another one this clean for sale...the ones I have seen on that auction site are nowhere close to this clean and mint.

Made in September 1986...
4000.00 shipped to the CONUS ONLY...

The only things I would remotely consider for trade would be a Wal bass....

I will openly admit that I don't like Rics...

And I will also admit that this bass could make me change my mind about them. That thing is AWESOME!!!

Man...I'd slap a couple of Bartolini soapbars and an Aguilar pre-amp in that baby. Then a BadAss bridge and some of those cool orange neon DR strings. Maybe a nice green pearloid pickguard and rock that Ric bass!!

just kidding, Jaymi...beautiful Ric that you'll soon regret selling.

Slick! This is the shadow, right? Whoever gets this bad boy will be lucky. I'm still gassing hardcore for that tuxedo though. White Rics are my weakness.
