This is a MIM P bass (the only original parts are the body and bridge) that I modded with a Moses Graphite Neck, Stewart Mac Tuners and a Villex P Bass Pickup. The neck feels more like a Jazz neck and is very fast. No dead spots, great sustain and harmonics really ring out. You don't have to ever worry about truss rod adjustments again with this bass. The fingerboard goes a little beyond (has two more frets) what the original board did, so reaching the last 2 frets is not so easy, but can be done. The Villex pickup is really amazing. It has very high output for a passive pickup and it has a sweepable mid range, so you can get that great p bass sound and also an array of others...very flexible. This bass has some dings and scratches (nothing major at all), but sounds great and feels great. It is neck heavy, so use a strap that doesn't slide on your shoulder. |
