Can U get a marcus-type of slap and pop tone from this bass?

Is the fretless fingerboard level/same height with the fretted fingerboard? Or is it slightly raised, where the fretless starts?

I'm trying to figure out if it mwahs well (which in my experience requires low action).

If it does slap and mwahs well, this would be a perfect bass.

Not a marcus tone, more woody. mwah yes! fretboard height is consistent up and down. its easy to set up low action if you only have 7 frets to clear, and beyond the seven you then have medium-low action for the fretless. I currently am just playing with rounds and not playing beyond the 7th fret. This has a monster B string as well.

I've been waiting on the promise of more photos, including a photo of the transition from fretted to fretless, and a confirmation of the 19mm string spacing.

Meanwhile, I thought I'd give the bass a bump by including the photo on sold page of the Matt Pulcinella Guitars website.

Ah, thanks for letting us know it was sold. BTW, I think the forum rules say the thread is supposed to be closed when the bass sells, so if you are going to resell it, you'll probably have to open your own thread. Enjoy your new bass!
