So the great 4 string selloff continues. I got this many years ago and got a great deal so Im passing my luck onto the next buyer!
Orange burst/stain ash body and neck, spalted maple top, maple fingerboard. Mike makes great 4 string necks 1.6 inches at the nut, 19mm spacing. Comes with MTD case
Sonically the ash neck basses have a pronounced midrange and are bright, I usually roll my treble off 25% and it sounds great. I think these basses have more authority and thickness than some of the other MTDs and sound great with new or dead strings, Ive had these on for over a year and a half!
Only trade would be for a five string version of this bass plus a little cash on my part.
Bass is in great shape but does have some little circular depressions in the top which I think are just part of the top. I tried to capture them in the flash. You cant see them if youre a foot from the bass. $1950 shipped in CONUSA, paypal ok.
