This is a custom MTD 5 string 34" scale 18mm spacing neckthru.
Honduran Rosewood top, Western Big Leaf Maple back, maple neck w/ Purple Heart stringers and Pau Ferro fingerboard. Weighs approx 9 lbs. Serial #1900 HSC included.
This is an incredible looking and sounding bass! My other basses are 17mm spacing......my new one will be also. Bass is in excellent condition and really is one of a kind.

Tone is what you would expect form any Original Tobias or made in the US MTD. Sustain is incredible. It is not as "bright" as Maple but has nice "growl" and every note rings out. It is 18mm spacing.........34" scale with 24 frets. I wish I knew which adjectives to use to describe the tone..........but all I can tell you is that it is an incredible bass! |
