The original owner told me it was a NAMM show bass ('09 I believe). Tulipwood body, wenge neck and fingerboard, Myrtle Burl top. Weighs about 9 lbs. Comes with brown MTD hard case.
Great bass - probably one of the nicest I've ever played - but I've come to the conclusion that other style basses simply work better for me. No dings or scratches. To my astonishment my Ernie Ball string winder put marks on some of the tuners. The marks look worse in the photos, but wanted to show them at their worst. There is also some minor pickup wear. Other than that she's pretty close to mint.
I normally go for natural finishes on high end wood like this, but the blend of the burst is very subtle and the combo of the Myrtle and the blue make the top and headstock tend to look more green (or teal). It almost reminds me of granite or marble with the wood grain. Very striking in person IMHO.
Asking $3300 shipped & insured CONUS. (I'm not shipping this bass out of the USA). PayPal works for me, but I can make other arrangements if needed.
Although I would prefer an outright sale, I would consider the following in a trade deal +/- $$$ as appropriate:
- Sadowsky 4 String.
- Sadowsky 5 Jazz style.
- Roscoe 5 or 6.
- Modulus 5 or 6.
- Smith 5 or 6.
