MTD 635-24 MAPLE/WALNUT FULLY OPTIONED
This is #2229 of the MTD series and it is very special indeed! It's fully upgraded. I'm perfectly happy with this bass but I'm curious as to what other MTD's sound like.
Quilted Maple top
Bird's Eye Maple board (24 fret)
Matching truss rod cover
Matching wooden knobs
MTD World Logo
Luninlay glow-in-the-dark dots on fret markers on the side of the neck and knobs
Detuner on B to A
Trade value is higher than my modest sale price!
MTD Saratoga 5 USA
+/- cash (must be mint or in great shape and no wenge and only ash or alder bodies)
Also very interested in ebony boards
Since a bunch of people asked - the bass weighs about 9-10 pounds and the tone is the signature piano tone, but but the walnut gives the tone a lot of low- mid
punch and girth, and all the maple on this bass gives it a lively and sweet top end. Hope this helps!
Wow, why couldn't this be a 5er!! GLWS.
Nice. Would love to have it.
Man my ash 635/24 has a wenge neck. I was about to make you a serious sweet offer. Dang for wenge bump.
What a beauty !! One of the most beautiful mtd's !!!! Good luck with the sale
Man that Maple is pure gold. Looks carved in that first shot.
I've seen some nice figured maple, but this has the highest definition I've ever seen.
Bump - wish this was mine
Gorgeous bass bump.
How to buy
Dang this is still here? I gotta sell mine so I can have this bump!
Still looking for an MTD preferably a 535/534 with an ash/alder body, an ebony board, and 24 frets. LONG shot at best, but I try...
