well,
recording my demo and tax time has fully rendered my bank account useless. and in an effort to be able to pay rent and buy food, i need to do the awful, insane, just plain stupid.

- maple burl top chosen from a group of 5 tops
- medium weight ash body (which actually feels incredibly balanced)
- stock bart pups
- aguilar obp-3 (still have original bart pre and will throw them in)

- dunlop strap buttons
- brand new TKL lightweight case (similar to the MTD shipped case, but the original was lost in a van fire)

Second, this bass absolutely smokes. This was custom bass we did for Jae and we hand picked every piece of wood and the end results still absolutely exceeded the sum of the parts.
And finally, I would buy this bass in a hearbeat but, unfortunately, I too find myself owing money in a couple of places.
Who ever gets this bass will be elated. At this price it's literally a steal!

sorry for being so slow with the updates and replies, but the bass is currently locked up tight in the studio, and the engineer in charge is in boston 'til wednesday night.
once i get my hands on the bass, i'll be able to fully answer everyone's questions, take some higher resolution pics, and update this post.
