Maple burl top, rosewood fb, not a scratch on it. Plays like a dream, weighs in at a very reasonable 9 1/2 lbs. plus or minus an ounce. I had a Nordstrand preamp in it, but I reinstalled the original electronics for the sale. The KZ6 can definitely be improved by a preamp and pickup upgrade, but it doesn't sound bad with the stock electronics. The workmanship is truly amazing for the price.
I added black Dunlop straplocks but will include the original strap buttons. I had a luthier in my area do a setup on the bass and file down the fret ends, as they were annoyingly sharp. There's no visible evidence of that being done, of course.
I bought this bass a little over a year ago, but since I've been playing 4's and 5's almost entirely it has had very little use. Comes with the original MTD gig bag as shown. I'm not interested in any trades at the moment.
