I purchased this bass at Christmas time, thinking I would try to convert to more than 4 strings, and I don't think I honestly ever will, after all of these years. It's a great example of awesome craftsmanship, and is super clean! The EQ is very good. Lots of tones in there! It's a fantastic bass, just not for these hands!
- Upgraded MTD KZ6 Burl Maple top with a Mahogany body, Maple neck and Maple board. It has the upgraded Bartolini Pre Amp NTMB5.4, upgraded Bartolini Pickups(approved and designed by Mr. Tobias himself and only sold thru Bass Central), MTD American aluminum bridge replacement for the KZ6 direct from Mr. Tobias himself, and MTD American soft rubber knobs. There are $500 worth of upgrades on this beauty. Comes with a Roadrunner soft/hard case. After talking to Mr. Tobias on the upgrades, he told me that I have as close of a sound to the American MTDs as you can get.
