MTD KZX 5

35" scale, 24 frets and Bartolini pickups/preamp. Mahogany body, maple burl top, black gloss finish & smoked chrome hardware. This one also has the Rosewood fingerboard.

For more specs, refer to the following MTD web page link:

MTD Kingston ZX Bass

Only one ding (thanks to the singer of course) near the controls that I captured as best I could in the pictures. Could probably use a set-up as well, which I would do myself but I'm not very good at it. Other than that, this bass is in excellent condition. Has seen very little use at about 3 gigs and only a handful of practices. I'm almost exclusively a 4 string player and also have an MTD 535, so I have decided to let this one go since it never gets played anymore.

Sells for $1799 new at Bass Central, which is where I bought it. That price does not include a case.

Mine however does include an MTD softcase as well as (2) new sets of MTD strings. Asking $1175 shipped (CONUS only). No trades.

Love these...can't do the 35", which is a bummer when you love them. LOL

Good luck with the sale!

I have the first run #15 0f 30 signed by Michael Tobias. If the production models are anything like the first run this is one RESPONSIVE instrument. If you like to slap or pluck these sound GREAT!!!!!
