MTD635 fretless FS/FT

Thinning the herd/flock/collection or whatever you call it...

Recently acquired this one in a trade, thinking somehow that I would find the time to practice enough to become at least adequate...

... or NOT!

So, since it's not getting played, it's gone. Ash body, burl maple top, coated wenge board with very subtle lines, wenge neck. Excellent condition, no issues, could use new strings. Includes case.

$2450 obo, including ground shipping to lower 48, Paypal preferred, postal MO accepted.

Possible trades: Sadowsky NYC vintage 5 models, fretted MTD 535/635, maybe Dingwall 5.

stupid question...

It's really a beautiful bass, since that you might be interested in another MTD 6 string that mean you like the sound...

Why don't you ask a luthier to put fret on it?

would you be interested in a trade for an MTD 535? I'm gravitating more towards 6-string basses or 4-string only, so I'd like to get rid of some of my fivers. Also have a pre-gibson tobias 5, and a beautiful custom renaissance 5 fretless.

Sure, depending on what flavor - I have one with a maple board now, and am looking for a 5 with a wenge neck/board. PM or email me

Thanks, Greg

Might just do that, Yvon - but would prefer to keep it a fretless and move it on to someone who can take advantage of it's MTD-ness... I've seen a lot more fretted 635's out there than fretless, and this is a great deal on a great bass, IMO.
