FS/FT Music Man Sterling Black Maple HH

Sign in to disble this ad
Bought from a fellow TB'er Shy Guy a couple months ago. Plays awesome sounds like a sterling should. Just not my thing(I am a big guy and a sterling is a little small to me)

Here is a link to the original thread with a bunch of great pics. Comes exactly as i received it. I will add there are some pic blems in the pick guard near one of the pickups. I don't play with a pick and they were there when i received it.

Looking for interesting trades. Can add cash for the right deal. don't need the $$ so I can be picky about what I want.

Primarily gassing for an Fender American Jazz either Std or Deluxe, a human base is on my bucket list as well. Would also be interested in a Stingray 5 HH Black/Maple or painted headstock, birdseye or roasted maple a plus.

I can also add cash for the right bass.

Trade preferred or I will say $1000 OBO. Currently strung with DR Black Beauties.

Primarily gassing for a Stingray 4 HH with maple neck and or matching painted headstocks. American Jazz Deluxe and a human bass are on my bucket list as well.

Trades considered or I will say $1000 OBO. Currently strung with DR Black Beauties.
How much does it weigh? Thanks.

DO I want a Sterling....Maybe...

2007 Fender American Standard Jazz - Shoreline Gold w/ Maple board, white pearl guard and 60's Custom Shop pick-ups.

2009 Fender American Standard Jazz - Olympic White w/ Maple board, W/B/W or tortoise guard, DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Pick-ups and Audere JZ 9V Preamp.

2010 Fender American Standard Jazz V - Black w/ Maple...would probably be looking for a touch of $$ on the fiver as it is BNIB with only swirls from sitting on my lap in the studio. Switched stock pick-guard from W/B/W to B/W/B...would ship withe either one.

Also, could put Ultra Jazz PU's and Audere in either four stringer.

If no interest good luck with the sale/trade...Love Black on Black w/ Maple EBMM's!!

Do not have the exact weight, it's lighter than a stingray, I would venture so to somewhere in the 8.5 to 9.5 lb range.

PM's replied, some trade interest for a BM jazz.

I have a perfect 2005 MMH4 black on black with a beautiful rosewood fretboard, purchased new and used for one gig in 2006. When I bought this one, I played 50 at the GC in NYC and this was the best. It is a bit big for me. Still fairly light at 10lbs. hardshell case. Only blemish is a tiny finish ding in the corner of the headstock, which was there when I bought the bass, but it was still better than the rest.

That is a beautiful Tobias, absolutely love the pao ferro in the neck.

But its just not me. Thanks anyway.

Really interested in a Fender 5 jazz, standard or deluxe. EBMM stingray 5 would also peak my interests as well.

I would be interested in seeing what you have in a Bongo...full disclosure of any marks or blems please.

Really leaning towards a 5 string to replace my neck heavy spector rebop

Desert Gold, the typical headstock ding, otherwise pretty mint. No factory case, but I'll find something to ship it in.

That's a nice bongo, wrong color for me, if it were black, maple it would be a deal.
