Musicman Sterling 5 single H

Here is a sweet Sterling 5 string. I bought it new 4 months ago. In white, with an abalone guard. The maple neck has nice flaming in it. It is pristine, the only wear is pickguard swirling above and below the strings.
$1100 shipped an PP in the conus. No trades, thanks.

Too bad you aren't interested in trades. This is one of the basses I have been looking for. If you change your mind, please let me know.

Very nice. I was GAS'ing over a 4 string Sterling, but I play 5's. Very nice bass. Just a little steep for me. I was thinking I'd just get one of those Sterling by MM basses when they come in this week for my MM fix, but now...

Back for another look...really tempting. I need someone else to buy this. My only bass is in the shop waiting for a new nut so I'm currently without a bass. Not a good time to be looking at the TB classifieds!

Although I love my Ray35, it would be nice to own a Sterling 5. They have all of the same tonal goodness of a SR5 but they are usually about 8.5-9.5lbs. while SR5 can be pretty heavy.

I like the smaller body. Very tempted after convincing myself I only need one bass - and then it breaks!

I have one of these on layaway right now. AMAZING bass; IMO it does everything a Stingray does, plus more, and it's more comfortable. Win-win.

And, the B string is incredible, of course.

She weighs 9 on the cheap bathroom scale. I will weigh it on a lab scale tomorrow.
Thanks!
