This is an important bass in the history of EBBM. It features the return to alnico magnets for pickups on 5-string Stingrays, and the "tone block" construction (the pickups and bridge are anchored in a channel of mahogany running through most of of the ash body) that featured in the 25th Anniversary SR5, and now is standard in the new "Reflex" line of EBBM basses. Cosmetically, there is a lovely quilted maple top, in a "California Sunset" burst. The body shape also differs from the usual SR5, being more like a regular 4-string and is very comfortable.
This one has a rosewood fingerboard and is in excellent condition, including the custom 20th Anniversary case.
How does it sound? Let Ed Friedland tell you...
