This bass was purchased by me from Guitar Center in Dallas in May. It is part of the special run of SRs. It has a Birdseye maple neck, 2 band EQ, EB hsc. Totally mint. was: $1350

One of the huge plusses of the Classics is the figuring in the neck wood, which is kind of hard to see in your attached photo. A body closeup shot showing the ash grain would be cool, too.

Really? $750 is insanely low for a classic series. Now, an older 3 band style.... I wouldn't even bid on! Had one, couldn't get a good tone out of it. My 2 band classic can do anything and sits perfectly in a mix everytime.
Bump for the bass that's put my Laklands in their cases lately. :-)
