This bass was purchased by me from Guitar Center in Dallas in May. It is part of the special run of SRs. It has a Birdseye maple neck, 2 band EQ, EB hsc. Totally mint.

One of the huge plusses of the Classics is the figuring in the neck wood, which is kind of hard to see in your attached photo. A body closeup shot showing the ash grain would be cool, too.

Really? $750 is insanely low for a classic series. Now, an older 3 band style.... I wouldn't even bid on! Had one, couldn't get a good tone out of it. My 2 band classic can do anything and sits perfectly in a mix everytime.
Bump for the bass that's put my Laklands in their cases lately. :-)
