Musicman SUB with Finished neck, MM HSC, Extra PG and new strings $475

Sign in to disble this ad
So a little while ago I had a bunch of things for sale that didnt sell and I needed to raise some funds, so I put my SUB up for sale to and it sold .. then everything else sold, so I bought one right away to replace the SUB I never wanted to sell.... well, it seems that I shouldve kept the cash and since I can always find one again when the funds are aplenty, Im puttin this one back up for sale.

The original thread that I bought it from is here. Its a great bass that is in really great shape! The neck has been stripped of that sticky paint that MM decided to use for some reason and oiled to a nice sweet satin. So its better feeling than any SUB ive played! There are a few spots where you can still faintly notice the black, and theres a little around the serial number sticker where the person who did the work didnt wanna destroy the adhesive of the serial number. Otherwise, its a real sweet job. Smooth neck and body with very little to no discernable wear. Since I bought it I did a complete setup, put on new strings, and put on a new mirror pickguard. It also comes with the original white pearloid PG as well. Sorry the crappy stock PG is gone.. but hey you can spray paint some cardboard if ya want one...LOL....
The new strings and pickguard is what accounts for the difference in price from the price I purchased it at here on Talkbass.

Thanks and enjoy.
US made and active with a kickass TWO BAND tone! Comes in a Hardshell Musicman Case!!!
$475 Shipped within the Continental US only please. Paypal gladly accepted for your protection.

nah.. its not so hard right now.. the previous purged did ALOT of good, I just had a couple slow weeks, and wanna stay ahead of the curve. .. but thanks for the goodwill!.. the bad thing will be when I go and try to replace this one I probably wont be able to find one with the finished neck, which was a REAL plus to me.

yeah, they are regular scale..if youre seriously interested, PM me your address and I could see what the difference in shipping would be. Ive never shipped to Canadia.. but Id consider it. Youd be responsible for any duties or taxes of course, cos I have NOOO CLUE about those.

Bump for a great bass, tried one out for the first time. I love the neck and overall playability. Hijack over. Good luck with the sale

Take this back to the top for sure.
My only gripe with the SUB's was the back of the neck, so this one is gripe-free!!
Can you paint the fretboard to look like maple??

Bump for a GREAT deal. The finished neck looks awesome and makes this play like a non SUB I'm sure.

Im not exactly sure as I dont have a scale in the house.. BUT.. my Stingray is just under 9.5lbs and it feels pretty close to that.. I have another bass thats 10lbs, and it doesnt feel to be as heavy as that to me... So Im gonna make an educated guess at around 9.5lbs.

and thanks for all the kind word all!
