Musicman USA SUB

USA made Musicman SUB, 2 band 9 volt battery EQ, black finish with buyer's choice of original one ply matte black guard or an E. Ball OEM 3 ply matte white. Bass is in the ball park of 97% condition with only a few micro nicks on the headstock edge.

SUB stands for Sports Utility Bass and with this texured type of finish, an excellent name.

The SUB was Mr. Sterling Ball's attempt to make an affordable USA made Stingray. It was a money looser for Musicman! Discountined after a few years. Now they have an import line.

This SUB is a 2006 (I think.) It has the newer compensated nut.

Great reviews on the SUB!

Includes a gig bag. $440 + $30 for FedEx Ground shipping. PayPal. Lower 48. Both pickguards for an extra $20.

This should go in minutes. These generally sell for much more..

It is a Stingray with a different finish.

I had one and they sound exactly like.... A Stingray!

Yep, it failed to pay for itself because it's a little too much like the real thing and probably cost nearly as much to manufacture.

EBMM's loss is your gain. I had mine refinished, paid more for the refin that I paid for the bass.

GLWTS.

Thank-you for your comment! YES! It does sound just like a 'Ray and the 2 band EQ sounds a little less "clanky" than the 3 band.

Perhaps I should go to TB's edit button and increase the price? ha ha ha

IMG Code

Hover the mouse over the image, it's the bottom selection. As soon as you click on it, it's copied. Paste the code to your post.

No worries.

Good thing I'm broke, or I'd be making another unnecessary purchase on a great bass.
