Talking My Fender American Deluxe FMT V... for the umpteenth time.

Despite popular opinion, I have not lost my mind... not completely anyway . I've lost track of the number of times I've listed this bass but this time it's gotta go! I'm tired of looking at it, lol!

The bass is in good condition but it's clearly used. There's (~2 mm) mark on the back where solder went thru the finish (no burn mark just bare wood). There's also a small break in the finish (~2mm) near the input jack and a nother (~2mm) on the lower horn. It'll will ship with it's OHSC and the case candy (cloth and trussrod tool) that was included with it. Both will be packed well enough to stop bullets.

This thing looks amazing, sounds amazing, and can handle anything that you throw at it and then some. It pretty much confirmed for me that I really dig jazz basses. I've put over $500 into this bass (Bartolini pickups and preamp, sadowsky knobs, all professionally installed, intonated and setup) to make it sound awesome and it does but I'm after something slightly different and now, I've found it. I'm sure that somebody, somewhere will love this bass even more than I have!

BODY:: Alder
TOP:: Quilted Maple
NECK:: Maple
FINGERBOARD:: Pau Ferro, white binding w/ MOP Blocks
PICKUPS:: Delano JC 5HE dual in-line humcancelling jazz pickups
PREAMP:: Bartolini HR-4.7A/P 3-band preamp with 3-way mid-selector (250/500/800Hz)
SCALE:: 34 inch. 22 frets
STRING SPACING:: 18mm
WEIGHT:: less than 10lbs
EXTRA: Full Schaller Strap-Lok system
SOUND/VIDEO CLIPS:: Clip 1 Clip 2 Clip 3 Clips 1 & 2 feature this bass with the Bartolini pickups and stock pre while clip 3 is with the Delanos and Bart pre.

Click the picture to go the gallery.

*Pics of the dings coming*

*Note - the pickup screws in the picture are black but it will be shipped with the original gold pickup screws as well (or, if you want to be nice, you can let me keep the black ones, lol )*

This awesome bass can be yours for $1525 east of the mississippi and $1550 west of it. International shipping is available at the buyer's expense. Sorry, but I won't respond to trade offers.

The wild man is at it again. Excuse my ignorance but what does FMT stand for.

Another beautiful bass, my friend.

At some point in the beginning of they're production the 'F' stood for 'figured' then they divided the model names into QMT and FMT after a year or so. It's kinda confusing, lol.

You can call Fender with serial number. They can provide the year.

The date is derived from the beginning of the serial number unless that has changed.
