Sold!!!
Hey, I just took this in on a trade.... man it's a nice playing / sounding bass. Traditional burst 4 string passive P/J.... sounds massive through my tube rig... killer slap tone, fingerstyle, etc
but it feels like they strung up a #2 Pencil !!!!
being a 6 string player, I can't do this 1.575" nut.... well maybe as a 3 string.
Anyone got a Fender P to trade for this... MIM, MIJ, MIA, no Squiers... just a budget P. My ideal would be the recent Ash MIM from MF or GC... will consider any though.
The Millennium STD is available in black, sunburst, candy apple red, topaz blue and custom shop colors. The Millennium STD has a U.S. MSRP of $899.99 and will be available at Authorized Peavey Dealers in September 2002.
Features:
• Maple neck with 8" radius
• Pau ferro fingerboard with dot position markers
• GraphTech® top nut
• 1.575" neck width at top nut
• 34" scale length, 21 frets
• Solid alder with a unique double cutaway
• P/J pickups
• Black hardware
• Case Included

Seriously, that was my bass. I think Musician's Enemy said the list price was $1100.00 or something. In any case, it's a nice bass, and I like those flat-feeling necks. If I were a P-J kinda guy, I'd still have it. I'm much more of a J-J guy.
Also, it's nice and light.

Question is it a passive or active bass?
If anything if you still wanna ttrade I'll go pick it up with my dad. (Can't drive yet ^_^)

Thursday, can you get me any photos of your bass? It sounds cool, but I'd like to see it first.
and to answer your question, it's passive
I'll be taking pictures of all my gear on the weekend (I think my schroeder mini12 is back on the block too). |
