Nash 57 Precision - price drop

Sign in to disble this ad
I really don't want to sell this one but there is no way I'm selling my Nash Jazz.

Bill Nash 1957 Precision, two tone burst. The neck is 1.5" wide at the nut, slightly chunkier than a standard Jazz neck profile. I'd describe the profile as slightly thicker than a Jazz and not at all like a P baseball bat. The profile is very comfortable to play and sits in your hand well. Jason Lollar alnico 5 pickup, CTS pots, and orange drop cap. The bass currently has a set of brand new roundwounds on it but it will also come with a newer set of Pyramid flatwound strings. Which if you like flats, Pyramids are unbelievable. Nash ultralight case included. The headstock sports a period correct Fender decal which has been reliced. Weight is under 9 lbs. Plays and sounds simply fantastic, the action is currently set up fairly low with no fretting out or buzzing. With the flats on this bass the action was the lowest of any bass I've ever owned. Records and tracks suberbly. $1275.00 shipped.

Just a bump from a fellow Nash owner. They may look funky, but they play like a dream. Lollars kick @$$!!

Free Bump

Bump for an awesome P bass. I had a Nash 57 P. Best P I've ever played. I should never have sold it.

Cool bass. Is the truss rod adjustment accessable without removing the neck?

The truss rod adjustment is at the heel of the neck and you need to loosen the neck enough to gain access. In the time I have owned this bass I have only made two very minor adjustments to the neck, once when I got it to suit my taste and then when I switched from flats to roundwound strings. Nash necks are very solid.

Deal fell through so this is back up for sale. In the initial post I forgot to mention that a Nash case is included.

Bottom dollar price $1200 plus actual shipping, your choice flats or roundwound strings.
