This bass just has that "something" that others don't, so I am pulling it and closing this thread
I purchased this bass here on talkbass less than 2 months ago, with hopes of using it in an Allman Brothers tribute band that asked me to join them. It is a GREAT bass, but the Allman Brothers gig vaporized, and I have too many basses (besides, at age 62 with a torn-up left shoulder, any bass that weighs more than 8 to 8.5 pounds is just too heavy for my surgically-repaired left shoulder). Here is a link to the original listing for the bass .... FS: '07 Nash JB-63 Sunburst w/ Aeros
Two additional comments/reflections regarding the bass and the original listing:
1. The comment about neck relief and the truss rod is a non-issue. A bass neck should never be perfectly flat, and this one has just the right amount of neck relief, with just a hair of added relief at the middle frets (about an extra 1/64" max.)
2. The Aero pickups are absolutely FANTASTIC. I have Aeros on another vintage bass (a '78 Fender), and my wife has them in her Fender Musicmaster, and in every case, they add a lot of "warmth", along with a more-detailed mid and higher end tone. Asking $1,050 Reduced to a ridiculously-low price of $1,020 shipped in the continental USA. Nash Guitars "soft sided hard case" included.

This means that the most that it would cost you to try it, if you decided to return it, would probably be $30 to $40 depending on where you live. If you live close enough to Philadelphia, you could always try the bass in-person.
Just a brief word of caution -- I will be traveling on family business (sick mother, who is hospitalized) from this Saturday, 11/05 until Tues., 11/15.

The Aeor pickups just add that "extra something" to this great bass .... I REALLY wish that finances didn't force me to sell her!!! |

(The first one who asked me to hold it has had financial difficulties, and said "go ahead and sell it"; the second guy has not responded to any posts or PMs in more than 2-1/2 weeks). |

(I have a 24 hour policy for that, now - if they're not ready to pounce, dibs go to someone who is.)
BUMP for the guy who actually follows through on his transactions!

I may just end-up keeping this bass (even though the weight is an issue ... and the ONLY real issue that I have with it). I have a blues, blues/rock, R&B gig where this bass (especially with the flats on it) creates the PERFECT sound.
