NEW Ric 4001 C64 in Fireglow

Up for grabs is a new Ric 4001 C64 in Fireglow. I bought this bass in February and it has never ben gigged and played in my home about three times. it IS in new condition and comes with all the case candy.


$2400 shipped in the US. These basses are out of production and this one is one of the very last built.

I don't think so. The wood is a little too light in color.

What is the main difference between the new 4001 C64 and the 4003? My 4003 looks just the same but no toasters pups and horseshoe. Well and the marking on the fretboard are not the same.

The C64's have no body binding, dot markers, toaster and horseshoe pickups, no ric-o-sound and reversed logo plates.

They also have a more squared heel on the back of the neck, an upside-down headstock, and mine (2009) has a different neck profile than a bandmate's 4003 from 2010... my neck is much thicker and rounder than his.
