I have way too many basses, so I'm going to sell a couple of the nicest ones. This is a new Rickenbacker 4003 in new condition. I got it during the recent sale at MF, but I don't need it and I won't use it. I tend to buy way more stuff than I can use. Luckily I have a good job, and a non-observant wife.
It comes with the original case and whatever is in the unopened plastic bag.
The price is $1500 including shipping in the continental US. I prefer a no-fee transaction of some sort on this one. I felt kind of ripped off by Paypal on the last big-ticket item I sold. The MID color is difficult to photograph. The photos below are indicative of the color in bright light. In lesser light, the blue gets very deep, and even appears black under the right light. It's beautiful.

Dang... I had one just like this, probably one the basses I regret the most selling, but I needed the money Wish I had the ability to score this, I am sure it wont last long...just saw a quoted ship date for the blue 4003 on MF as 1/12/13

Thanks for the bumps and the nice comments. I'm going to hold out for cash on this one instead of trades. I might change my mind if it doesn't sell in a week.
