Nice Parts P

Sign in to disble this ad
Parts P, nice bass, pretty light too, feels about 7.5-8.0 lbs max. Black solid alder body from 2000 era Affinity P, killer neck from '83-84 SQ Squier (these necks rule, as you may know) with stock vintage style nickel tuners , Bill Lawrence P-46 pickup...SCHWEEET!...Gotoh 201 bridge (best bridge available IMO), light mint green guard, updated US pots, topped off with TI Jazz Flats strings. Everything a good P should look, feel and sound like. Did I say the neck is sweet? No lie, neck feels ,like a vintage 60's, with a nice played in feel, heck it's almost 30 years old! No case, sorry. Want $275.00 + shipping. If not, it will be parted out for more dough.

This would be perfect if only it had a jazz neck.

These necks come as close to a pre-CBS fender neck feel-wise as you will ever find. I have an SQ series P-bass and the neck is the same dimensionally as my 1960 P. GLWS!

Any idea what the width is at the nut?

I've got a couple of these and they are 1 5/8" at the nut.
