I got this a few years ago to have a cheap(er) backup to my SX. On the good side, I was really impressed with the neck. It plays great, with a profile slightly meatier than the new MIM Precision neck I just bought with the same 1.625" nut width. No high frets and plenty of life left. It looks like someone stripped the front of the headstock and brushed on some poly, which looks fine, just not pro (you can see the brush marks at a certain angle). The width at the heel is 2 3/8", so it won't drop into a standard Fender route unfortunately - but it is a really killer neck with a flamey cap fingerboard and some birdseye figuring.
For the negatives, it has a heavy laminate body that has been banged up in spots, as you can see. Of course, if red sparkle finishes are your thing - you won't care!
I dropped a Squier pickup in there including the stock Squier wiring. Problem is, it isn't putting out any sound. So, yes, I'm passing on this problem to you, fair buyer. I just can't be bothered to troubleshoot it right now.
So if you want a cheap project P with a great neck - here you go.
I'm packing this up tonight so I'll be ready to respond to PM's about shipping quotes. I'll take the neck off for shipping.
