I just bought this Nordstrand VJ4 classic a week or so ago. And its time to sell it
I just got a shot of buying my old Nordstrand back, so Im seizing the opportunity. If I had a way to keep both I would, because this thing is simply amazing!
This bass is incredible in all forms. Action go's crazy low, playability is amazing and the sound is like the most incredible jazz you've ever heard. I used it last night and it fit in the mix just right and sounded huge.
The down side. Its a players bass and has a lot of mojo, I tried to photograph all I could. The front of the bass looks good though The back of the neck has 2 small scrapes up near the nut in the low F area.Its noticeable if you're thinking about it, but I played it last night and never noticed it. It still plays incredibly.

I've played alot of nice basses and this one is simply a gem! If my old bass comes off the market, this one stays for good! Carey builds with the best of em!
