This is a NJ5, in fact ,the last built by Carey. Its 2 years old and is in XLNT condition. i am the original owner. This bass was designed to have everything you need and nothing you dont. These basses are no longer available at Nordstrand. The shop has moved and these basses will be increasing in value as things will be changing at Nordstrand. I wish i could afford to keep this bass but i have a new single cut comming and need to sell to fund that purchase.
This bass has an incredible fingerstyle jazz type sound. With the selectable mid cut, slap tones are excellent as well. Action is very low and the bass plays like a dream. Its light and very comfortable to play. Ever play a fretted bass that Muahs???? this one does. This bass has the goods. (Ask Dan Lutz.)
