Asolutely amazing condition '95 Peavey USA Foundation. I can't find a nick or booger on it! Has all the original paperwork, manuals, tools, and even the decals still stored in the original Peavey hard case too. I was told that it was owned by bass student who bought it new, took 2 lessons on it and quit, and stored it under his bed. Yup....Super Ferrite pups!!! It may still have the orig strings on it.

Total thunder! SOOOOPER LOW ACTION!!

$375 is firm, incl the HSC.

where in the world did you find this in this condition? crazy!!! I think you meant '85 no? I think a 95 would have that newer style head and different picks...but I could be wrong---cool!

Well - with that headstock it has to be a 85 rather than a 95 - so it's an even better deal ... it's rather on the higher end of foundation prices BUT if the condition is really as it looks like it a great chance to get a "brand new" vintage american made bass.

Nevertheless - i am really liking my f...d up mid 80's foundation, great neck, pickups and feel ...

Good luck with the sale

Never played one of these. What current style bass would you say it's tone most resembles?

Nice Foundation! Based on the serial you're posting and Wikipedia, I think it's an '87. Just to help.

Good luck!

That is what I was thinking because I couldn't read that it said "Super Ferrite" in the pics.

Y'know....I only plugged it and and played it to test. Its really difficult to judge the tonal charactoristics of a bass until you play it with a band. I'd put it in between a P and a J bass, but with a bit more definition, and its very "bite-y"
