NYC Sadowsky Jazz 5 String #5163:
Chambered Alder Body
Maple Neck
Flame Maple Fretboard
HC Jazz Pickups
Sadowsky Pre with VTC
Candy Apple Orange (Juice) finish
This bass is in great condition with very minor player's wear. There are a couple very small marks on the front of the body, but nothing that is noticable unless looking for imperctions up close. One ding as photographed on the back of the body just below the control cavity, and some slight wear on the underside of the neck from being gigged. This bass has been well taken care of and I hate to let it go. Very punchy and plays amazingly. Awesome Slap Tone! The reason I'm selling is because it is very similar to another bass I own, and I can only keep one at this time as I have some other expenses to make up for. Any Questions at all, just send them my way.

Truth be told, this one DID have some pretty serious mojo. If I could possibly justify a 5th Sadowsky, this one would make my short list. The alder/maple spec is a little off the beaten path, but I personally really dug what this bass could do. Different kind of mid push vs the usual ash/maple... a bit warmer and more even tempered... a bit less aggressive, and a touch more classic. Wonderful.
Mike, remember that white bass you miss so much? Think of that, but with a bit more clarity and edge from the maple board. Now... just TRY to resist... fuggheddit. |
