NO TRADES PLEASE PRICE DROP!!!!!!
This bass is circa 1970's. It is a Made in Japan Westwood copy of the short-scale (30.5") Gibson EB3 style bass, cherry red that has darkened nicely with age. The uniform SG-style body makes it easy to play for right or left-handed players. Neck is straight and fast, truss rod is in good working order. BRAND NEW upgrades include:
- Hipshot Supertone bridge
- Gotoh MIJ pickups (both neck and bridge)
- Volume and tone controls
- Selector switch and jack plate
- Grover tuners
- Labella flatwound strings
- Schaller strap locks (you get the ends that go on the strap as well)
- extra nut included
This bass is road worn for real from gigging over the years. Note wear on the edges, cigarette burn in the headstock (near the bottom tuner) is FOR REAL. None of this is faked. Upgrades (parts) alone were $300ish.
Plays and sounds great! Frets in great shape too. Some cracks around neck pocket, but no issues with them. They appear to be in the finish and top layer only. She's got REAL honest player wear on the body (looks really cool). PRICE DROP!!!!!! now just $299!!!!! Comes with what I'm told is the original case.

1: I believe that she's a solid body bass with two halfs glued together, one on top of the other like two pieces of bread on a sandwich. I just took some pics (see below).
2: 7.4 lbs
3: 30.5" (or 30 1/2")
