One of a Kind Nordy VJ5 its a Jaw Dropper !!!*********

When I saw this....I HAD to have it. Its the most stunning instrument I think Ive ever seen. Its a Nordy VJ5 Modern. #124, It weighs in at 9.2 on my didgital BR scale, and sounds like THUNDER. Here are the stats...

34.5" Scale Modern
Nordstrand Big Split Pickups
Nordstrand 3-Band Preamp
Maple Neck, Spalted Sapwood Bubinga Fingerboard
Alder Body with Redwood Top
Chrome Hardware: Hipshot
Knob configuration: Vol/Blend/Tone/Treble/Mid/Bass.
Push/Pull on Volume Knob (active/passive mode)
Push/Pull on Mid Knob
Wired 18 volt
Clear Mylar Above Neck Pickup
Includes hardshell case. Theres about a 1/4 inch knick on bottom bout thats been touched up and barely noticable from more than a few inches away. but..its there., and one small ding on back of body. The top has no imperfections. The mylar can be removed, just by peeling it off..
The tone of this one really fits in line with my other Rosewood/ Alder Nordys. Full , thick, yet focused. The interesting wood choices dont seem to push it at all in any different direction. It sounds like a perfect blend of traditional and Modern. So...no suprises..

Im really only selling this because, with my rock gig, it really doesnt work for me visually. Its too nice to be sitting in the case. Its really stunning in person and everyone who sees it says WOW!
I love the side dots...nice touch. Own a one of a kind. The only trades would have to say Nordy or Sadowsky on the headstock..
$2550 shipped.Conus only. its a steal...

and now....PORN...

Had no idea you had this one, Rob. I totally know what you mean about the fancy top thing, though it's still freaking awesome.

Ya know, I usually think it's a crime to cover up a beautiful piece of wood like that with a pick guard, but that actually looks pretty class with the tort guard on it!

WWWWOWWWWW!

Absolutely one of the most beautiful basses I've ever laid eyes on. Magnificent !!!

Makes me wish I played 5 string.
(You wouldn't have another one like it lying around with 4 strings on it would you?)

What a beauty.

this bass gets alot of wows...as you see.
from what Ive been told..the bubinga is in the rosewood family and if you look deep at the grain...it looks like rosewood, but visually its amazing. like i said in the text...it sounds like a big, thick, alder/rosewood Nordy. no suprises...
