I just got this yesterday from a older gentleman who bought it new in '89, played it in his home for about a year, and parked it in a closet, where its been ever since.
This thing has a gorgeous high-gloss maple neck that you'd shoot your dog for!!! All original electronics, quiet pots, great low fingering, truss rod is smooth, nearly no wear on the board. The gloss black finish is still shiney, but it is just beginning to weather a bit and should be polished. I even got the orig tools with it. Feels like its lighter than 9 lbs.
It sounds absolutely GREAT...as did all the MIK's from this era. IMHO, these MIK's are much better than MIM's, and fall in somewhere between the MIJ's and MIA's. I'd keep this one...but I have sooo many P's right now.
$325 plus actual shipping cost gets it. Trade offers are alway good too.

Thanks |

Thanks |
Just popped it off...it appears to be solid...no lines in the wood. Even the cavity is nicely painted from the factory and super clean (typical for MIK I guess)

Bump for a great TB'er and a bass that will likely make its new owner very happy.
