I used to have three of these, as they were my main bass through most of the 1990s. I sold them around 2005, when I wasn't playing them any longer, and had gone back to Fenders. However, a couple years ago, I started thinking about them again, and picked up this one about eighteen months ago. This was, probably, the cleanest Magnum that I have owned.
I played it a good bit, at first, but then picked up a Rick, and that has been my main bass for the last year or more. Behind it, I have way too many to think about, and would rather that this one find a new home where it will be played.
The fretboard shows some lighter areas behind the strings, but it is not damaged, or otherwise affected. This was not an instrument that has gotten much use since it was purchased.
The case came with the right-side latch broken off. I was able to get this back in place using some heavy duty glue, and it has performed without problem for the last year or more.
The pictures are phone shots, so not the greatest quality, but hopefully, give enough detail for anyone interested.
I will ship the bass, insured, for $750, or - if you are within an hour of central NC, I can meet you somewhere, and would be happy to let it go for $700. If you are more than an hour away, and want to drive, I will leave that decision to you - I don't want to go more than about thirty minutes from home base :-)
