P-Bass Special - Sell Only

Sign in to disble this ad
This is one of those "one-in-ten" Fenders that really has the vibe, plus killer upgrades to boot!

2001 Fender Precision Special - MIM - Mint condition
Blizzard Pearl Finish w/Gold Pickguard and Chrome Hardware
Jazz Neck - great set-up, very fast and easy to play!
Nordstrand P/J's! 3-band Fender preamp.
Just added Badass II bridge. It sounded tight and punchy before, now with more sustain and better action! (Will include original, however).
Fender gig bag.

$625 - will include ground shipping in the CONUS only. Prefer Paypal e-check.

Upgrade

I work at a music store and we have the same bass, which I had been very impressed with it's ease of play and solid tone. The Nordstrands add an incredible clarity and punch which wowed me enough to buy it on the spot at Atlanta Bass Gallery.
I've never cared for the stock Fender bridges so I immediately added the Badass, which is always an improvement.
The bass is a killer, but I've got 5 others and need to pay off those gear bills!

One trade considered:

Since I found I like the Jazz necks so much better than a Precision's...

If someone has an extra Jazz neck for my Warmoth P-Bass, I'll take that in trade w/cash for this exceptional player!

What's the weight on this bass? I've heard that some of the P Specials can be a bit on the heavy side.

Seems to be of average weight to me - I'll check it on the scales later and post...

I can vouch for this exact same bass model (minus the Nords) but it's not heavy...at all. Mine was like under 10 lbs
