Vintage 1982 Yamaha Made in Japan BB1000S (ala Peter Hook era)
Beautiful "Sienna Burst" and neck-thru! This bass was recently serviced at the (locally) famous Phil Jacody's shop. Phi worked as a luthier @ PRS and now is on his own. He has a PLEK machine and does great work. Phil replaced one fret and leveled the rest. Plays like a dream! Extremely versatile due to the P/J pickup configuration.
Modern P shaped neck and good weight (shoulder tells me about 9 lbs).
Overall in great shape (some minor dings, scratches normal with a bass of this age). Nice low action. Comes with the case pictured (which is beat-up, but functional). $520 shipped and insured!
