Fantastic Sterling H 4 string bass with extremely low action. I'm the only owner & its been stored well. Its probably from around 2004. The neck is perfect, I never have to adjust it, its almost always in tune.
Sound is aggressive & can be mellowed playing off the neck with fingers, maybe even putting flats on it. 3 EQ, parallel & series switches (NOT POSSIBLE ON THE HH BASSES NOW)
A little chip on the head stock, a few very small scratches on the front barely noticeable... a decent sized scratch on the back from a belt buckle most likely.
Other than that plays & sounds like a dream. Its been my favorite rock & roll bass for a long time but now I'm playing church gigs with boring root notes & need a different sound. When I was playing in a cover band this bass could sound like any song I needed by changing the mids and my playing style.
This is the USA made version not the overseas Sterling by MusicMan junk they have now... this one will last for many years, not warp or have the tuners slip mid song. I have a MIM Fender Jazz thats total junk now & I wouldn't even sell it or play it so get a quality instrument here.
$700 firm.
I'm in Wakefield, MA 15 min north of Boston
