Now up for auction is a project that I've been working on for a while now. It's a Peavey T-40 fretless. I bought everything piece by piece and now I have a complete bass, except for the wiring harness. That's all that's needed.
The body has a nice gloss finish on it. It was natural to begin with but the previous owner put a gloss coating on it. It's really nice. Decent job. There are a few areas where the finish globbed up a bit. It's not noticeable unless held up close. The pickups are a matching set from a T-40, blade style in excellent condition. Original output jack is still installed.
The neck was purchased from tbirdbassist here on the forum. It's in incredible condition. The fretboard is almost spotless. Almost no sign of wear from rounds. Orignial set of tuners, bridge, neckplate, pickguard (which was washed out to be matte instead of gloss.) Teardrop hard shell case included. Excellent condition. Brown lining is excellent.
While all it needs is the wiring harness, I also have the four, correct knobs. No surprises here. It's a great bass project. Just get the wiring harness and you've got a great, rare T-40 fretless. Only reason I'm selling is to fund a custom Chip Todd bass made from a T-60 guitar. It's a radical conversion but it will be well worth it. Mr. Todd is the creator of the awesome T series guitars and basses. Here are some pics:
No surprises here. $250 shipped to your door. Paypal or postal money order.
