It's a Made In USA Peavey Axcelerator unlined fretless in metallic red...9V active electronics, original ivory pearl pickguard, concentric treble, bass and volume and blend. Original highmass bridge. Superb playing neck is ultra thin and effortless to play. Has one of my "FunkMaster Custom Bass" waterslide headstock decals. A set of GHS black tapewounds will be installed on it. Has a few nicks and some touchups but is very nice overall. This is THE BEST sounding and playing fretless I've ever owned...bar none!! I'm just not needing it anymore.
$340 includes the original Peavey formfit hardshell case (not the generic case in the pics)

I might have a trade or two I could toss at you.
I'm on my cell right now. Will PM you in the am.
Is the bass able to get a Mawah sound or would you say it has a more woody, upright tone?
Thanks!
Tony

Tony | Hey Tony...
These have a very different sound eminating from each pickup. Very smooth upright sounding on the neck pup, and VERY mwahhhhh on the bridge pup.

Very playable, really nice tone. I just never could find any use for the high C like some players can. This bass is worth every penny of what's being asked and more.

I watch every note I'm playing, so I would probably fail at fretless. Darn. Although broke, I was trying to figure out a way to make it work. Sorry... |

It is simply a gorgeous and versatile bass. I wish I could've made it work for me, but I know it's going to a better home than mine would've been !
