This is far and away the best 5'er that I've ever played. But...I'm doing a year-long tour of duty with a Motown tribute band and won't need a 5 string for a while.
The silver finish is great, with just a few very light scuffs and tiny nicks...its just not quite perfect. Has the original white pearl pickguard. All stock 9-volt active electronics...almost dead silent and massively powerful. The action is incredibly low and easy, almost ridiculous low...very typical for Axelerators. The neck is quite thin and in great shape. It has Peavey's superb adjustable tilt action neck too. Has a brand new, never played set of GHS tapewound 130's on it too. The frets and board have almost zero wear. These also have excellent high mass bridges with tons of adjustablility.
Its my opinion that these are one of the best basses out there...just incredible to play and they sound awesome!
Price is $395 firm plus shipping. Comes with the orig Peavey form fitted hard case..also in great shape too.
(possible 4-string trades, please drop me a PM with any offers)

Yes, you lucky dog !!! Motown is the gig ! Talk about getting chicks ! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
