Cool PEAVEY CIRRUS 4 triple maple Custom Shop w/ Millennium Preamp !

Here is my "triple maple" Custom Shop Peavey Cirrus 4.
NO Serial number !! Either a Prototype or a custom build. I am the second owner.I then sold it, and bought it back years later.

I spent four hours today dialing it in. I tightened everything up, cleaned it, new strings, set up, intonation, and "voila" ...

- Peavey Cirrus 4 custom shop w/ Millennium Preamp
- Maple neck with walnut stringers
- Alder wings
- Maple flame top, and Maple fret board
- 35" scale neck, 1.6" wide nut, 24 frets
- Peavey Millennium preamp with variable mid (envelope filter)
- Two Peavey VFL soapbars
- NEW DR Blackbeauties

I had my other bass for sale desperately waiting for this bass. I decided I like the sparkly tone of walnut more than the "Rock n Roll" and/or "Motown P bass" tone that this bass reproduces SO WELL !!! This bass sits in the mix with ANY rock or R&B band !! She does cover bands like nobody's business

Also, my car repair will cost way more than originally thought, so I'm freakin' out...

Comes with matching KACES gig bag

$1,200 SHIPPED !!

I love that bass. Wish I had the means to acquire it. Love that maple fretboard.

Are there any clips anywhere of this bass? I'd love to hear what a maple fretboard on a Cirrus sounds like. (I only know the typical Pau Ferro of my USA 4 & 5)

Yes you can. My car repairs are WAY more than I expected... I had every intention of keeping the bass as you know brother.

Lemme help out w the sound question since this was my bass until a few days ago
the sound you are used to on a Cirrus is just not this one. This one is very bright crisp clear and very Geddyish. It can also be very bluesy but not mud bluesy. The bass really is a Rock bass it does fit in the mix but you can also come right out of the mix. Granted you need loud enough amplification but you can step up and solo just fine w some tweaking of your mid voicing filter. I think you can cover the entire "rocky" road w this one. As with the other Cirrus types u have a different scope to add. This is a special type of bass w a very distinct voice.

So you're like bi-polar or something? Lol.
2nd bass in the same day you decided to sell and then not sell. Right? :P
I'm kidding. That is possibly the most beautiful Cirrus I've ever seen though. Wow.

Haha nice.
So you're keeping both now?
Good call.
