Howdy,

I am considering selling my Cirrus 6-string bass. It is a great bass, very comfortable, in good condition (one minor blemish) and great tone. I am ordering a custom built bass and need some cash to help pay off the new bass. Here are the specs:

6-string
35" neck
Walnut Body
Walnut/Maple neck
Bubinga Top
Pau Ferro Fingerboard
Gold Hardware
Original Peavey pups & active 18 volt electronics
Original Peavey Case

There is one blemish on the headstock that I will include a picture of. I am only looking to sell this bass, so no trade offers please. PM to make an offer!!

Looking for $1000 + shipping.

I've had 2 Cirrus 6ers: one just like yours, and a Redwood/Alder fretless w/ maple/purpleheart neck. Loved them both and miss them!!

Anyways, yours (like mine) has a pau ferro fretboard, not rosewood. I believe that pau ferro is similar to rosewood w/ a tighter grain and IMO sweeter tone. Also, the grain is more pleasing to the eye.... IMO.

Bump for a killer 6er that I may snag if I have no luck finding one w/ a maple board.

Thank you for the correction! I was wonder about that actually, so I am glad that someone clarified for me. I'll try to get a better shot of the FB tonight, but the grain on this pau ferro is very nice.

I had thought that I was going to try to keep this bass, but after having my new bass for about a month now, I've realized that I'm not going to be playing the cirrus enough to justify keeping it. So I'm reopening this thread and looking for offers.

As those of you who are familiar with the Peavey Cirrus basses know, this is a great bass that deserves to be played. I've considered keeping it for a while now, and I wish that I could, but it would be best to release it in to the wild.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Should be 17mm std at the bridge, slightly adjustable in or out.

I think that it might be 17.5mm with my current set up. But your right, you can adjust the spacing depending on your tastes.

I'm having trouble getting the flickr links to work when I try to show an individual picture here. Any advice?
