Peavey Custom Shop Cirrus Bass

This bass is made of Babinga wood and is in pristene condition
Serial # 11485327 not sure what year. No dings or scratches plays like a custom bass should. Comes with hardshell case strap locks and (2) extra sets of strings
Looking for 750.00

That looks like a stock bubinga Cirrus to me. What makes it a custom shop model?

It is stock and probably a '98 or 99 lets see a pic of the headstock to get a measurement here. He can always send an email to Peavey to inquire about the serial # to find out the year.

Yeah, this is definitely not a custom shop model, BUT, it doesn't matter. IMHO 750 for a pristine USA Cirrus neck through is a very good price.

It is my understanding that the Cirrus line was first introduced as a custom shop line. I could be wrong though.

This is source of some MAJOR confusion. Yes, all USA Cirrus neck throughs are made in the same shop, but this is a standard "configuration" you could order from any peavey dealer off the shelf. The "custom shop" as we know it was launched by Peavey later for those who wanted to spec options not offered by standard configs.

They even have the "Cirrus USA" and "Cirrus Custom Shop" under different icons on the web site (tho the custom shop doesn't currenly link for some reason).
